Thanks to the donations of many Brothers we were able to demolish the old shed and firepit, pay for debris removal, and construct a pressure treated wood base and a new resin shed. Alumni and Active Brothers worked together on these projects last spring. (The idea was to tackle the sweat equity projects before we constructed the party area.) We have purchased the 4 foot square firepit which will be the focal point of a 12' x 12' paved patio area for fellowship gatherings. We have the funds for the engraved bricks and filler bricks. Approximately, $5,000 is still needed to hire a contractor to professionally install the bricks. I paused fundraising because winter weather caused us to delay construction until April or May. We have solicited construction bids, now we need $5,000.
